9:00AM 12:00PM Go Gray in May 5K May is National Brain Tumor Awareness Month. In honor of the over 700,000 people in the United States living with a primary brain tumor, several of which have connections to the Newfound area, we are holding a fundraiser 5K to raise money for the National Brain Tumor Society. It’s all in the details…. Go Gray in May 5K will be held in Kelley Park Bristol, NH. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and race start time will be 9:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to fastest overall male and female. This is a 3.1 mile course that will be timed by Granite State Race Services. Participants can choose to run or walk the event. Participants with dogs and strollers will be asked to start at the back of the runners, and dogs will need to be leashed and in control throughout the event. Directions: From I-93 turn onto Rt 104 West and follow approximately 4.5 miles into downtown Bristol. Take right onto North Main Street in center of town (This One Way street runs in front of the entrance to TD Bank). Parking is available in designated parking spots along North Main, the parking lot on right on the corner of Mayhew Street and at Newfound Memorial Middle School. The location of the race start/finish will be in Kelley Park Bristol, NH.
n/a 12:00AM Mind Games With Hynotist Paul Ramsay The Class of 2018 is sponsoring a wonderful night of entertainment on April 1 (April Fool's Day). Hypnotist Paul Ramsay will explore the power of the mind with volunteers from the audience in the Inter-Lakes High School Auditorium at 7 pm. You won't believe your eyes as you see friends, neighbors and family members performing hilarious acts and becoming stars of the show. Don't miss this special event! All proceeds benefit the Class of 2018!
All Day Seussical The Prospect Mountain High School Drama Club presents Seussical TM. Please come join our students for performances on March 30th, 31st, and April 1st at 7 pm and April 2nd at 2 pm in the high school auditorium in Alton. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for seniors 65+. Doors open one hour prior to showtime to buy tickets or stop by the PMHS main office to buy tickets early. General admission seating. Based on the Works of Dr. Seuss. Music by Stephen Flaherty, Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and Book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Eric Idle. Seussical TM is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
