9:00AM 3:00PM Manchester Monarchs Summer Fan Fest It is the halfway point until the Monarchs embark on their 14th season in the American Hockey League. The plaza of the Verizon Wireless Arena will be turned into a carnival-like atmosphere with an inflatable bounce house, an obstacle course, sumo wrestling, face painting, photo opportunities with Max, and a blowout sale at the Monarchs Pro Shop featuring equipment, jerseys, practice jerseys, T-shirts, hats, and much more during the Summer Fan Fest on Saturday, July 26! The youngest of fans can also sign up for Kids Club for the 2014-15 season! Former Monarchs players will also be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures! A portion of Elm Street, from Lake Avenue to Harry Theo Lane, will also be blocked off for Manchester’s largest Street Hockey Tournament, presented by TSR Hockey! Three separate age divisions will each play a four-game, round-robin style tournament, which will be comprised of two, seven minute halves. The entry fee for the Street Hockey Tournament, presented by TSR Hockey, is $75 with proceeds benefiting the Monarchs Care Foundation. Participants in the tournament will also receive a ticket to the Monarchs Opening Night on October 24. 1:00PM 5:00PM Summer of Christian Kids (S.O.C.K.s) The Lakes Region church of Christ, located on 1 Mill Street in Tilton, New Hampshire is hosting a summer youth program starting Saturday, June 28th from 1PM to 3PM. "Summer of Christian Kids" vacation Bible school will provide younger children (ages 3 through 12) with a Bible lesson, skits, games and snacks AND parents are invited to enjoy an activity with other grown ups. From 3PM to 5PM, the youth group for teens will provide fun and devotional time, with singing, prayer, snacks and games. All Day 4-H Prize Calendar Sale The Winnisquam Whinnies 4-H club will be selling Prize calendars the month of July for drawings in August. Prize calendars are 1 chance for $10 and 3 chances for $20 every chance stays in the drawing the entire month!
