8:00AM 4:00PM Breathe NH 29th Annual Seacoast Bike Tour May 17 & 18, 2014 - ride one or two days Portsmouth, NH to Ogunquit, ME Scenic coastal routes, great food, music and fun! Help us raise funds to eliminate lung disease and improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease in NH. Saturday routes = 24, 41 or 55 miles; Sunday routes = 35 or 52 miles. 10:00AM 1:00PM Gale to Goss Library Walk On May 17, 2014 Laconia Public Library, Project EXTRA and the WOW Trail will celebrate the love of reading and love of our community as we walk the WOW Trail from the Laconia Public Library to the Goss Reading Room starting at 10:00am. We will have free t-shirts for the first 150 children, free raffle ticket for a chance to win a Kindle Fire, refreshments and a ride from the one and only, Molly the Trolley! 10:00AM 2:00PM Loudon Fire Dept Open House The Loudon Firefighters Association with the Loudon Recreation Department is putting on the Open House. rnrnSaturday May 17, 2014 at the Loudon Village Fire Station which is located at 8 Cooper Street, Loudon, NH 03307 from 10am to 2pm. rnrnSome of the things that we will have are demonstrations, hot dogs & drinks, a bounce house, pictures with Smokey Bear and MORE!!!
10:00AM 2:00PM Annual Bike Rodeo and Safety Day Saturday May 17th Laconia Kiwanis will be at Opeeche Park in the lot adjacent to the track from 10am - 2pm providing new bicycle helmets to area children. Kids are encouraged to bring their bikes, MC Cycles will be on hand to perform a saftey inspection, there will be an obstacle course to manuveur through and the opportunity to register your bike. In addition LRGH along with our local Police, Fire and Marine Patrol will be on hand displaying their life safety equipment and sharing tips to stay safe while enjoying our summer recreation. There will be complimentary hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks or water. Did I mention we will be raffling off 2 bikes to 2 lucky children at the conclusion of the day? There is no cost to participate, although donations to keep this program alive will be greatly appreciated.
