||Hospice Volunteer Training
||Franklin VNA & Hospice will hold a free Hospice volunteer training class starting on Wednesday, November 6th and for 6 Wednesdays thru December 18th (skipping the night before Thanksgiving), from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Hospice volunteers are adult men and women of all ages and backgrounds who have a desire to help their friends and neighbors and to serve the community. They are key members of the Hospice team that help clients and their families deal with illness, grief and loss. Location for training is the VNA office in Franklin. ||Gift of Lights - NHMS Winter Wonderland
||Gift of Lights - NHMS Winter Wonderland Friday, November 15 - Sunday, January 5, 2014 4:30pm-9:00pm Spanning over two miles, the Gift of Lights is one of the largest displays of holiday lights in New England. It includes several themed displays, such as the 12 Days of Christmas, a jungle scene and a Nativity depiction. The course winds around the outside of the track's grandstands and includes a portion of the NHMS Road Course. The event is open nightly from 4:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. from Nov. 15 - Jan. 5. Admission (per car) Mon - Thurs (non-holiday) $15 Fri - Sun $20
||The Festival of Trees at Sticks and Stones Farm
||Sticks and Stones farm will be hosting the annual Festival of Trees. Families are welcome to vote on their favorite decorated trees, enjoy a wagon ride around the farm, visit with Santa, see the animals accompanied by the Granite State Zoo (Saturday night only), and much more!! Entrance fee: $5 per person, max of $20 per family; 6 and under free. Festival runs Friday-Sunday, times vary. ||Hypnotist Show at Moultonborough Academy
||Hypnotist Paul Ramsay will be performing in the Moultonborough Academy Auditorium on Friday, November 22nd. Show starts at 7:00pm. Tickets available at the door: $10 for children under 12 years; $12 for ages 12 and up. Come out for an evening of entertainment and support the Moultonborough Academy Class of 2016!
