3:00PM 4:30PM Gathering of Music Franklin VNA will present the Gathering of Music, its annual musical concert for the benefit of its Hospice Program, on November 10th. The program, which includes a memorial service for loved ones who passed in the past year, starts at 3:00 PM. This year’s program is being hosted by the First Baptist Church of Sanbornton, 17 Church Lane, Rte 127, Sanbornton, NH. Refreshments will be served and a free will donation for the Hospice program will be taken. For more information, call Nancy at (603) 934-3454.
4:30PM 6:30PM Hospice Volunteer Training Franklin VNA & Hospice will hold a free Hospice volunteer training class starting on Wednesday, November 6th and for 6 Wednesdays thru December 18th (skipping the night before Thanksgiving), from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Hospice volunteers are adult men and women of all ages and backgrounds who have a desire to help their friends and neighbors and to serve the community. They are key members of the Hospice team that help clients and their families deal with illness, grief and loss. Location for training is the VNA office in Franklin. All Day Annual Wreath Sale The Franklin Visiting Nurse Association’s Hospice Program holds its annual wreath fundraiser during the month of November. Beautiful wreaths of various sizes, kissing balls, balsam garland and other greens are available to order at very reasonable prices. The sale runs from now thru Thursday, November 15th, with delivery in time for Thanksgiving. For more information or to place an order please contact Nancy at the Franklin VNA & Hospice at 934-3454.
